Do not use Sunnova. I've had their system for 5 years and their service is horrible. The system breaks down often, no customer service, no appointments available, techs come whenevers, some times no one comes at all or follows up. You're left with a non working system that you still have to pay for and an electric bill too.
CONSUMER WARNING Trinity and Sunnova misled a homeowner I know into believing their solar panels could be removed and reinstalled during future home renovations, something both companies were fully aware of before installation. When the time came, both refused to honor that agreement, leaving her stuck with panels she can’t move and a massive financial burden. ANOTHER UPDATE - STILL NO SOLAR PANELS! Its now been OVER 5 months since my panels were removed for anew roof and still not out back one. They sit in front of my house as a constant reminder of the failed Sunnova company. They have no outsourced my project - so they can shift the blame. SolarNova is about as useless as Sunnova. STOP !!! PLEASE READ !!! DON’T SIGN ANY CONTRACT BEFORE FULLY READING EVERYTHING !!! I was assured by Trinity and Sunnova that my panels would be removed and reinstalled during future renovations, which both companies knew about prior installing them. Now they refuse, leaving me stuck and out hundreds of thousands of dollars. Worst company ever! My solar panels haven’t worked since April. I’ve been calling since the beginning of September, and they still haven’t sent a technician. They just keep telling me to wait for an email. Meanwhile, the power outages are getting worse every day.
