He never listened to my concerns and always blew me off when asking about things. I have Hasimotos, so I struggle with weight. He would constantly bring up my weight, and I kept telling him that we eat very healthy and I do not eat hugh portions like apparently he was assuming. He kept referring me to a nutritionist. I never went. I've been there and done that, and even the nutritionist I had gone to had me make a food diary and take it in after 2 weeks, and I was told that my food diary was excellent. Extremely unprofessional office and medical provider. Staff never answers the phone or when they take a message it takes them weeks to get back to you. Had to wait about 45 minutes after my appointment time to be seen and the appointment was only 15 minutes. The doctor takes personal phone calls during your appointment. Extremely unprofessional experience, don’t waste your time going to this place. Find a better nephrologist that won’t waste your time here.
Dr. Sunil Patel is obscenely unresponsive. My mother died in his care. It has been almost two weeks and the Mortuary has still not received proper paperwork from his office despite multiples follow up calls. My mother cannot be laid to rest because of his lack of care and attention to a beautiful mother. Shame on Dr. Patel!
My 1st experience with the doctor is . . . Allright. Took an hour to get to me after showing up for my appointment but the staff was nice. I came in for a general check up but I also came to him for other health issues too . Overall I think he did his job well but he made a lot of questionable and rude comments to me and was unhelpful whenever I asked for more information. Dr. Patel took care of my mother. He was always kind and compassionate and most of all he listened to us.
