Outstanding vegetarian fare Outstanding vegetarian food, with most dishes prepared from an Asian/fusion perspective. Try the "Sunflower Forest" dish. Recommended for a funky bistro experience (great wait staff, quirky sunflower-inspired decorations). Note, however, Sunflower does not serve any meat or alcoholic beverages.

Not impressed but I am not a Veg... I tried this restaurant for the first time last week and wasn't too impressed. First of all, the atmosphere was crowded and there wasn't a good decor going on. I felt like anything that was related to sunflowers (from an umbrella to Dollar Store junk) was put on the walls. Second, my salad was not good. It had wilted lettuce and the dressing lacked a good flavor. The vegetables were okay on top but fairly warm. I am not a vegetarian but expected an amazing salad from a place like this. Best Vegetarian Restaurant in Virginia! Sunflower is a delicious all vegetarian restaurant, which has a surprising amount of variety and dishes to choose from. The restaurant is small, the staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. This is definitely the place to go if you are vegetarian or have vegetarian friends. The General Tso's Surprise is amazing, even better than the "real" stuff.

Gotta be meat, right Vegan, but have all meat-eathing friends? Hate the taste of meat, but wondered what it felt like to eat it? Just bored and have nothing to do? Well look no further because the Sunflower in Vienna will satisfy all your wishful needs. The list of appetizers is small, but each one is a piece of heaven. I recommend the "aspargus rolls", but if you're friends are meat eaters, then the "fried chicken" may be the way to go. Fried Chicken? How's that possible you ask? Strictly Vegetarian Sunflower is a small restaurant that offers great Asian Vegetarian/Vegan cuisine. Everything you would want to know is listed in the menu, including the ingredients, which are very interesting. They are open for lunch and dinner. The entrées are cheaper during lunch, which ends at 4:30 PM. The dessert menu is not very big, but the entrées are great. The sushi is great and I recommend the General Tso's Tofu: it's delicious.
