I went for a blood test at the lab. You are supposed to pre-book, but when I did the lady told me that at the moment, they were doing walk-ins most days. So I gave that a try as I had another appointment at the adjacent clinic. I was surprised at how quickly I was called in. A very pleasant lab tech took a pain-free blood sample quickly and I was on my way.

A five year old with a head laceration to the bone. Wait time was over 5 hours (8:30pm to 2:00am) for 3 routine stitches that seemed to be a challenge for the "medical team". "Back in a few minutes" or " we'll be right back" translates to back in a few hours or so, then repeat. The only bright spot was the original nurse who was of immense help and knew what to do.

I live outside Sundre and came in because I was having contractions. I wanted to get checked to see if I was in labour. As I got led to the room, nothing was ready or prepared at all. I felt very uncomfortable at how many people were trained in maternity care [like 3 people]. I was nervous, because I wanted to be taken care of well. The other fact was when they checked me i said I didn’t want them to do it again or try again, yet they were pressuring me to do it again. Went there today. It was a great experience. I didn't have an appointment and the wait time was pretty short. The staff was very friendly.
