They scammed us out of our money. We purchased a caravan based on multiple assurances that there was a dealer/service centre near to where we live. We live regional so are unable to take the van to Dingley. When warranty works were required we were told there was no dealership NOR service centre near us. Sundowner have been great to deal with. Very helpful, particularly Ben Bud and Gabrielle. We are about to pick up our 2nd Hilltop Van. Very pleased with the quality.
Worst experience with our deal which should have been finalised today. Deposits paid. Waited months, not finished when promised. Arrived to find colours, laminate incorrect, extras paid for not completed. Trade in today, as agreed price! We arrived and our van is like new. We declared a water leak that had been repaired by a professional in Nov. today, the assessor went over van with fine tooth comb and told us we had major water leak in external cupboard. I recently called about selling my caravan. Ben was so helpfulful & informative. He organised collection of the caravan for me, which took place very promptly. I've since met with Ben, Gabby & Michael. A very professional & friendly team & I found them extremely trustworthy.
I’m glad that many people seem to have had a good experience with Sundowner. Unfortunately I have not. Anyone who reads this post will note that Ben will provide a detailed response when Sundowner are criticised and I’m sure that I’ll get one as well. I thought Jayco was bad but this lot take the cake. Once I’ve gone through the The VCAT process I will provide a further update.
