Terrible customer service! They tell you one amount that you will need to bring to close then once they get your money they give you a different amount that is over $2,000.00 more to bring to close. When you bring it to their attention they offer to change the interest rate to a higher amount that will only cost you an additional $8,000.00 over the 30 year loan. When you say "No Thank You!" If you are looking for a builder that forces contractually obligated cost increases back on the buyer then Ashton Woods is the builder for you! They think they may have a problem providing a built-in microwave/oven combo so they just aren't providing it. They said the contract says they can remove any option. The option is for an upgraded cabinet with a built-in but they are only removing the appliance. So everyone that ordered that gets a hole in the wall with a live 240v outlet.
