Had a Duke home energy audit and they recommended bringing the attic insulation up to a full R38 to save on Air and heat. I called Suncoast Insolator because he had recommended them. Woman on the phone was friendly and able to give me a quote right over the phone. Chris and Fred showed up on the 26th of February and did a great job. This company is as awful and unethical as it gets. My home is 3 years old and it will not cool properly but the air checks out fine; it’s the multiple gaps in the insulation that make it so hot. This company told me it’s normal for the insulation to “settle” when it’s new and they would charge me $500 for a “refresh” . I decided if I’m paying that $ I’ll call another company snd the other companies have looked in my attic and told me it was never laid properly and too many gaps.
