I called Sunbird RV Supplies and Services to inquire about a coating for a coating for my aluminum roof. Shad explained the reason for the coating and explained it does not prevent water leaks. Rather it is used to decrease the temperature inside the unit. Since I only winter in Sky Valley, temperature is not an issue.
