It's a good thing SP Utilities has a Monopoly on our market, otherwise they would have NO business. Every month I receive a bill with a due date roughly 3-4 weeks out. The very next day I will receive a past due notice saying that my bill needs to be paid within 10 business days or it will be disconnected. No where on the first bill is there anything about anything being "past due" or previous months charges. Tried to set up a payment plan and the guy I spoke with told me I couldn't. He had no compassion whatsoever even after I told him I have young kids in the household. They don't seem to care if youre struggling and won't work with you
