This company (Dennis Jay Furst, owner) is a thief. He stole an account from me. He has lost all future business. And it’s my intention to file small claims.

Dennis Jay is a scam, so are his third party sales partners like SC3. Careful if you think of going solar with Sun Energy Co, or Sun Energy partners. They do not pay they're own bills, I got a lien notice because of this negligence. The work is OK but took almost 9 months from start to finish and they could not keep scheduled inspection appointments with the city. This company should not have a license to operate

This company is not standing behind its work. I’ve been attempting to get my Roof & Interior Ceilings fixed since December 2022. With all the rains we had in 2023 my ceilings are a mess. They did come out end of March and removed the panels, covered my roof and then will NOT send anyone out to do the repairs. And now? They will not answer any calls, texts or emails and their voice message system is full. I’ve heard that they owe sun contractors money as well. I’ve added a few pictures of the interior damage.

I signed up with sun energy at the end of august of 2022 and their guaranteed install date was the end of october. There were a few delays which was fine, but then it got to the point where no one was communicating with me. I was basically acting as the project manager because Dawn was not doing her job. Just a simple call to just update me once a week would be nice, but it dragged on and on until i finally was able to get sce to do the inspection. I didnt get my solar working until the January of 2023. Once my solar started... read more
