I booked Sun Diego City and Airport Transportation to drive my parents from San Diego to LAX, and the whole experience was fantastic. The driver showed up right on time, helped with their bags, and made them feel super comfortable for the long ride. My parents said the car was really clean and the ride was smooth the whole way. They even got to the airport early, which helped ease a lot of stress. As someone coordinating from out of town, it was a huge relief knowing they were taken care of. This was hands down one of the most disappointing and dishonest service experiences I’ve had in a long time. We were quoted a price in advance for a short, 10-minute shuttle ride — already steep, but we were on our way to a very important family event, so I didn’t push back. When we arrived, the driver arbitrarily added 20% to the price, claiming it was “because of all our bags.” This was never mentioned up front. Nice shuttle from MCRD to airport. We had an afternoon to kill before our flight. Driver took us on a city tour. I enjoyed it. Thank you.
