These people are crooks. They quoted me almost double what the dealer charged to fix my vehicle. I was a loyal customer but will NEVER go there again. BEWARE..

I really can't say enough about how awesome the guys here are. I almost feel like a paid spokesperson because I just have nothing bad to say about them. I originally came here because of a coupon in the paper for an oil change, but they are about 30 min from my house so at first I didn't come here exclusively (only because they are so far away from me). Poor-Fair does not even describe how BAD Louetta Automotive is. I took my car for an OIL CHANGE and surprise, surprise, they FORGOT to put the oil in my car. My engine was ruined so they replaced it with another one (not new, USED engine). During the replacement I spent a month fighting with everyone who works at Louetta. Not only are they incompetent, but they are RUDE!!! Even the president of this company, who I talked to, was RUDE! We took our car to get an inspection here and they wanted us to pay close to $1100 to "fix" our car. We declined and they offered to get it in "good enough condition" to pass for around $650. We again declined. They said we needed to replace the master cylinder and basically the whole brake system. (And it needed a new seat belt-because it would not retract.) I love this place. Well, not love. No one loves car repairs but this is the only place I trust. I'm a born and raised local and have gone to so many shops through the years. I love this Sun Auto. I have been loyally been using them for over a year now for maintenance and repair. The guys are great, especially Alex. He has always been honest and has saved me so much money and irritation. Thank you for your service Sun Auto!

Please do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere near this place. And if you do, and you happen to meet a guy named "Jason", let him speak first. My wife took her 2000 Chevy Silverado to Sun Auto a few months ago because the engine was dying while she was driving. Once on MoPac driving 65 mph. They replaced the catalytic converter and the ignition module and charged a little over $1000. Okay, fine. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! They cut corners on repairs and use cheap, inferior NON OEM parts. They misdiagnose problems (whether by dishonesty or incompetence, I don't know, but does it matter?), and try to convince you your vehicle needs repairs it does not. I am so happy I took my car to two other mechanics to verify their diagnoses. There was nothing wrong with my car at all, except for residual effects of their corner-cutting. I love Sun auto. Everytime I've taken my car in they treat me like a person not just an idiot who doesn't know anything. And before they do any work they call and let you know how much it is going to be and quick to it.:)

I found them to be somewhat deceptive in their conversations and personal dealings with me. Perhaps it's because I am a woman but I will never use them again. I needed to have my car towed from their place of business to Toyota. I called them at 7:15am to release my vehicle to the tow truck company and explained that as soon as I rented a vehicle I would be there to pay them.
