I’m leaving this review after watching a close friend go through Sun County Wellness, and what she experienced was honestly disturbing. She did not receive the care or support she needed, and instead was subjected to constant micromanagement and control by house management. The groups were monotonous, repetitive, and offered little real value. Rather than feeling therapeutic, the environment felt tense and punitive. I reached out to Sun County wellness as I was struggling with anxiety, anger and mesopause/change of life issues. It was the best decision I made. Stephanie has a staff of people who are kind, talented and caring. All of your needs are met and the focus on my mental health was top notch Groups are run professionally and I loved being apart of them. Your assigned a counselor and a caseworker. I went to Sun County Wellness to help me with my mental health. The staff, case manager, and therapist really helped me. Everybody was super nice. Also, I enjoyed yoga, art therapy, wolf therapy, acupuncture, and horse therapy. I learned a lot about myself. I have definitely changed for the better.

I stayed at Sun County Wellness for four months about a year ago, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in treatment. The owner, Stephanie, was consistently unsupportive, mean-spirited, and bullying, showing absolutely no compassion toward clients. Before admission, I was told I could work from home, which required having my own room. I was charged $800 a month for a very small room that never should have had two beds in the first place, just so it could be converted into a one-bedroom with space for my home ... read more
