We recently had to make the very difficult decision to have the front leg of our 9 year old rescue Golden Retriever amputated due to cancer. In addition to being a very skilled surgeon, Dr. Silverman was exceptionally kind and patient with us. He spent a lot of time explaining the procedure and the recovery to us, and was also available by phone when we had a question. He really cared.
