I've been his patient for 16+ years. I'm alive because he is extremely knowledgeable in his field and cares about his patients. His staff are always professional and courteous. I recommend him to anyone and everyone that needs kidney care. 11 out of 10 for sure.
Before making any appointment I like to see people’s experiences at the office I’m planning to attend and let me tell you the reviews were right. Since walking into the office I knew I was at the right place. I was greeted by Lorena Montes and she guided me with the paper work and any insurance questions I had. Overall great experience! Love this office and staff = )
This doctor had a theory on my health and when the labs did not back up his theory, he ignored them and treated me as if his (incorrect) theory was correct anyway. He ended up cutting off the medication that was giving me my life back because he claimed it was too risky, and absolutely refused to hear my plea to get it back (worth noting that I'm back on said medications now, because a series of doctors who cares to actually hear me agreed that it was the best option despite the risks). After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to go forward with Sun City Kidney — and I’m so glad I did. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Pinal, who is new to the practice, and I have to say, she’s hands down the best nephrologist I’ve seen. She was incredibly patient and had a fantastic bedside manner.
