The team at Sun Blue Pools initially did a full deck and pool restoration for us about 5 years ago and the finished product turned out great. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!! I did a full pool and deck renovation, and there were so many issues during and after the renovation. A quick summary is below. The biggest ongoing issue is they improperly laid the coping tile that is attached to my pool edge. The only adhesive used was a small line of 1-inch of thin set under the pavers, even for paver tiles that were up to 24 inches long. There was only sand under the rest of the pavers. Absolutely a terrible experience. Signed a contract in Nov 2024 and paid a significant deposit, was told work would start in 30 days—they didn’t start until beginning of Feb 2025. Promised a 30-day "start to swim" timeline, and here we are in March, pool still unfinished. For starters, there was NO project manager onsite the entire time, and communication was impossible because none of the workers spoke English, and I don’t speak Portuguese. Sun blue installed my original equipment 8 years ago so I called them when my pool pump failed. They gave me a few good options to choose from. They installed it quickly (2 days) and it is running great. Very easy to talk to and got back to me with install updates. I will continue to use and recommend Sunblue for my pool equipment needs.
