It was fun and interesting for 10 minutes and the surrounding area is beautiful. Check it out on YouTube.
Drove for 40 minutes off the highway to find the place closed off without explanation or any signs. The place seems abandoned.
Super cool place with a walking path, gold panning class and a knowledgeable gentleman to answer questions.
Was very interesting to learn how this Dredge worked and all it's history. There was a tour guide with so much information and stories. Recommend visiting there are trails, old equipment to look at, and picnic tables for you to have a meal. Hope everyone has fun.
