This is one of my top 3 in greater Scottsdale. Great staff, good looking and helpful bartenders at a big square bar and AMAZING food at a reasonable price. See pics. Healthy, interesting, sushi-mex fusion. Music was just right when I was there from 5-7 pm on a week night. Lots of tables, some bigger groups. Easy parking behind the address in small cluster of buildings. Highly recommend

If you’re in Scottsdale and not hitting brunch at SumoMaya, you’re missing out — plain and simple. Rolled in for their brunch setup and it was dialed. Unlimited appetizers were next level — highly recommend the pancake tacos, trust me. That alone is worth it. On top of that, the brunch price includes nonalcoholic drinks and an entrée. You’re getting legit value without sacrificing quality. The food was locked in, service was sharp, and the atmosphere had that perfect mix — upbeat without being chaotic. Everything ran smooth.... read more
