I ordered the salmon sushi and a seared salmon roll. It’s my second time here and my first experience Was the same but I thought I’d give them another shot. The salmon was tough and chewy. Not buttery at all… tough to chew…

This is the 3rd time I’ve gotten a hand roll from Sumo, every single I’ve got one the salmon has been terrible. The color is always dark & dull, it’s slimy & mushy, the smell isn’t fresh, & it has an insanely fishy flavor. The sushi ROLLS on the other hand, are good. But I also usually order rolls where the fish is cooked. Aside from that, I’m not sure if the host was just having a bad day or what, but she was extremely stand offish & just not welcoming.
