We were driving cross-country in our van when a check engine light came on. After calling a few shops who couldn't get us in for a few days, Anthony at Sumners Automotive said he would work us in the schedule the same day. Everything turned out to be okay with the van and they got us on our way in no time. We were traveling with dogs and they said that we could wait inside with them. Very friendly and accommodating workers and business. I highly recommend Sumner Automotive.

I was very disappointed with the communication about the charges, specifically the diagnosis fees, not sure how it takes $196 to say yes it is the water pump that you told us was wrong. Then charge $650 to change the water pump and belt. It felt like they were more worried about wanting to sell other services than to just fix the issue it was brought in for. Will not be using this shop in the future.

We brought our daughters car in to get the brake fluid changed. We were Quoted $189. We said we didn’t want them to do any other diagnostics done. When we picked up the car the bill was just shy of $500. When we asked why they said $189 for the brake fluid change and bleeding and the rest was for diagnostic test we said no to. And to top it off, there is air in the brake lines, they didn’t bleed the brakes. Making it dangerous for a teenage kid to drive. And now my husband and I have to bleed them ourselves.
