I purchased a Jet 16"x40" Woodturning Lathe model JWL-1640EVS. I love the machine! The problem I have is with the leadership of Sumner Woodworking. The toolbase on my lathe broke after 4 days of use. I'm not sure if it was a fault in the metal or what. Regardless, I went back to Sumner Woodworking to ask for assistance in possibly a warranty claim or even to order a part for me. The response from the leadership was luke warm at best! They were NO help at all. In fact he suggested I contact Jet and deal with them on my own. T... read more
