Let’s be real. Vet services here in Juneau are…rough. I noticed my golden retriever wasn’t acting right, and I called Vet Triage and ultimately had to bring him here for emergency care. There are few available vets in the area, and it was during the time of transition between summer/winter — when lots of folks travel back to the lower 48 for the winter and only a handful remain in Juneau.
