Let’s be real. Vet services here in Juneau are…rough. I noticed my golden retriever wasn’t acting right, and I called Vet Triage and ultimately had to bring him here for emergency care. There are few available vets in the area, and it was during the time of transition between summer/winter — when lots of folks travel back to the lower 48 for the winter and only a handful remain in Juneau. Had a wonderful, albeit sad experience. Summit helped us usher our family dog (10+ year old mastiff) to heaven. The entire staff were sincere, professional, and gentle. They gave us all the time we needed with her before and after the procedure. We especially appreciated Laurel at the front desk who had phenomenal bedside manner. Additionally, Dr. Harris was especially informative and patient with us throughout the process.
Summit vet has the best customer service! All the folks who there are very well trained in their fields. Thru are also professional, caring & always make to take care of my pets needs. Best in all of Juneau.
