While discussing a piece of property I wished to purchase I suddenly found myself in a one sided conversation. The listing agent never got back to me and months later seemingly found someone else interested in purchasing the property as it’s now accepting back up offers. I have reached out numerous times and always get the cold shoulder but signed up for their countless new listings emails everyday without my consent.
I own property between two lots that have been or are currently listed with Sothebys Moab. Even though I have not given consent for my home to be included in these listings, the latest listing has a total of 29 photos in which my home and property are pictured in 17 of them. I have respectfully asked that those photos be edited to crop my property out, but I was told that it is legal for them to photograph neighboring properties without consent of the neighboring property owners. Lexie Dalton was our purchasing agent and was great! We were in Moab on vacation with no intention of buying anything, liked being there, so made a cold call to a random agency (Byrd) and it was total chance and good luck that Lexie was the first available. I've bought/sold probably 20 homes, and she is the best I've ever worked with: good market/value analysis, very quick and responsive, then provided extra services as we left the state and she did all the walk-thru's and details. I recommend asking for her.
