Check in was easy, friendly staff. Location a short walk downhill to city centre. Room was comfortable enough, however you get what you pay for. In my case I got a a couple of home-made bongs under the sink....
Fantastic location with lovely customer service - we had a (huge) pet friendly room (room # 2), with an outdoor area that had a fabulous view of Castle Hill, which made for a lovely afternoon drink. Very large bathroom and a full size fridge was also part of the room we had. The Motel was undergoing renovations whilst we were there, so some painting etc was occurring. We wish the owners all the best with this reno. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Townsville.
