Summit Malibu was life changing for me. I left a couple weeks ago and my life truly would not be the same. The staff were all incredible and were not just staff in my eyes. They genuinely cared about me and my wellbeing. They made sure I was ok and gave me advice I will hold onto forever. The director still checks on me to make sure I am doing well. I wasn’t gonna write a review about Summit Malibu but once I heard about Emily Willis, I thought I’d share my thoughts. I checked in on March 1 about eight days ago and The medical care I received there was horrible at best! I was detoxing off of kratom, which I’m sure a lot of people don’t know what it is, but it is a terrible and hard detox. the 1st 2 days and nights they were giving me Subutex to take for my withdrawals. I can’t say enough good things about Summit Malibu. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for by every member of the staff. Kam, in particular, has one of the biggest, warmest hearts. She is so patient, loving, and truly dedicated to helping others heal. The quality of service here is top-notch, with therapists and facilitators who are seriously vetted and deeply invested in each client’s recovery. I’m forever grateful.
