Summit House condo community is in a great area, however it is not well maintained. The outside of the community is made of wood and most of the wood here (siding, railings, fences, and carports) are rotted out and falling apart. The tennis court is in bad condition also. Aside from wood, there is a lot of artificial grass turf covering balconies, patio floors, and stairs. Very worn out and not pleasing to look at. Big association fees and the money doesn't go back into the property. Makes ya wonder. They are also terrible at responding to issues. Someone needs to audit this community for the sake of the homeowners who have to deal with incompetence of the person in charge.

OMG. Buyers beware. Three years in this place and the HOA has done nothing, zero, zilch with our nearly $500/month HOA fees. The garages were condemned! They HAD to remove them or face a lawsuit when someone got injured. The roofs had leak for years, and were blamed on other owners’ “faulty” windows and doors and threatened owners that they’d be responsible for the damage in other units! I absolutely love living at Summit House! The location is perfect, the neighborhood is peaceful, and the new management team is already making a positive impact. It's a wonderful community, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to move to the West Chester area!
