RecommendedI have lived here for 3 years and very happy . I congratulate our activity department for holding things together during this difficult time. Our activities have continued with a lot of creative activities. Community is gorgeous and very clean. Full of of beautiful flowers birds and butterflies. I commend nursing for going overboard in the care I have received. I recommend Summit Hills for anyone who is looking for an assisted living .
I have lived at Summit hills since 2017 and I love it. The residents and staff are very friendly. Community is clean and they care care of ever goin my apartment . I love most of the activities. They geared for my age and interest . They are fun and the leaders are funny and personable. I recommend Summit Hills for anyone liking for a retirement community.
I chose to come back to Summit Hills skilled for many reasons. The therapy department is great. They care and make it fun . The community is clean and the housekeeper is so nice and personable. The activities give me outpace and keep my mind active. I was able to make baby blankets to new mother’s who could not afford them and stretch a pocket prayer . I highly recommend Summit Hills
I work at summit hill for 3 months got injured for lifting a residents off the floor because the don didn't want us to use the hoyer lift once I got injured they try to find every little thing to let me go while I was on workers comp what type of place fires someone on workers comp

I had an interview here on Tues, was hired and offered a position as a med aide and CNA. I am looking forward to becoming a part of such a wonderful community for the retirees and elderly.
BEWARE - Summit Hills was not what it seemed to myself and my family. Mom went to Skilled Nursing/Rehab in July 2020. Mom has vascular dementia. The first 48 hours, Mom refused to eat or drink (Mom needs coaxing due to her dementia). The staff was not informed (even though we filled out paperwork and gave explicit instructions). It was not recorded on Mom’s charts that Mom needed a “feeder” and is diabetic. When we FaceTimed Mom that evening, she was delirious and more confused than usual. I have worked at summit hills for over 6 years and I love it ! Summit hills has the best members, smiling faces, food and the atmosphere is like non other. Beautiful decor throughout independent, assisted and our skilled unit. Summit is staffed with caring nurses and CNAs , who I have seen put people first always.
