He was demeaning, wouldn’t address the neurological issues I’m having, wouldn’t agree with me to sign a release so he has my stroke information. Made a statement about it not being in the files cause it didn’t happen. Told him TMC saved and rehabilitated me it took months. It’s been 3 years sense my stroke and I made a bad choice to consult with this neurologist. Wish me luck with my memory until I can travel- I’m fully disabled
Met with Dr Mannet today for a follow-up after a minor stroke six months ago. He asked why I haven't been taking the stroke meds he had prescribed. I just don't want to take more meds. I'm already taking two different meds for blood pressure. Instead of explaining to me why he felt it was important to me to take more meds he tried to intimidate me by saying ( oh so you you're refusing to take the meds I've prescribed. As a medical professional and someone who is fairly knowledgeable about my condition, Dr.Mannett knows more than I and I truly appreciate him being up here. Not sure why other people have him marked down so low, he's a great provider.
If I could give Dr. Mannet 0 stars I would. What a joke for a neurologist. I got my license suspended due to seizures probably 10 years ago, but have been seizure free for 6 years without taking any medications. I was thrilled to see we had a neurologist on the mountain because that meant I didn't have to travel all the way to the valley to get this all figured out. Boy was I wrong to get my hopes up. Worse. No stars. Went to see a neurologist at this healthcare institute. My husband had a ultrasound done on his legs 3 weeks ago for extreme edema in feet, ankles, legs. They just called. Advised the test all positive. When he asked ' what next'?, the caller said: 'well, just elevate your feet, keep wearing compression socks'. AND that was that! Nothing else to get to the bottom of his health problem!!!! And we pay for this junk???? What kind of a doctor advises a test comes back positive and then weenies out of any further... read more
