This review is a long time coming. I am no longer a patient here for many reasons, but one of the most heinous offenses this company has done was charge me a co-pay for an annual appointment (which is 100% covered by my insurance) all because I discussed a chronic condition with my doctor during the annual. Not sure why this constituted as a whole other appointment type, but they refused to budge and kept insisting I owed them a co-pay for the annual. One girl in the front has no care in the world to help patients when it comes to answering questions.
Summit health bayside has one of the WORST front desk customer service. The first time I experienced it was when I had to literally wait 3.5 hours to see one of the doctors despite having an appointment. The second time when I can check in the front desk clerk Tesressa (African American with a black mask on) just asked me “you checking in?” After I responded “yes” few trines, she goes “well you need to tell me your name”, I’m just not sure how she gets away with this attitude working at a big facility as Summit Health. Waited so long to see doctor, my appointment was on 3.30pm,came in 3.10 pm . Couldn’t see doctor until 4.15 pm ,
Extremely Disappointing! I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone. The staff is disorganized and borderline rude, and the wait times are always outrageous. I had to call multiple times just to get basic information. The lack of professionalism and care is unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.
