All the coaches are friendly and they make you feel welcomed. They have classes available everyday of the week which is also very helpful!
Coach Jamie Houston (and his team) continue to do so much to share their knowledge, expertise, and time to have combat sport opportunities in the Starkville, MS area… youth and adults alike benefit greatly from what Summit offers in terms of how they treat folks and engage in teaching. The kids class at Summit has been great for my son. He had no interest in any sports so we thought we would give this a try and it has been a game changer. In the couple of months we’ve had him in class he has improved greatly with coordination and effort. I can only imagine the impact this class will have on him in years to come.
We started my son in their kids' jiu jitsu program about 4 months ago. He has just fallen in love with the sport! We tried all the usual sports before trying jiu jitsu and none of them were anything he enjoyed. I have watched his confidence and athleticism grow so much these past few months. I am excited to continue watching him on this journey and see where it leads him!
