I recently had my annual eye exam with Dr. Nicholas Bruns at Summit Eye Care, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Dr. Bruns was friendly, thorough and took time to explain everything without making me feel rushed. Everyone in the office was very welcoming and kind; they made the whole visit seamless and easy. Normally I don’t leave reviews, but I felt this one was important. I found Drs. Vukich and Bruns after watching one of their videos, and we were so impressed that we decided to make the long drive from Darien, IL to meet them and discuss a possible LAL surgery. Poor communication and customer service
I had LAL surgery and am very pleased with the results. Drs. Vukich and Bruns are professional and knowledgeable. The staff at Summit Eye Care are experienced and the process is streamlined and seamless. The only aspect of the process that would help the patients is a more comprehensive education process, especially for those choosing LAL. There are many steps to this surgery and explaining those in a stepwise fashion would improve understanding and help set realistic expectations for end results.
