THIS GUY IS A THIEF. He held 2 separate sales after the death of my in-laws. It has now been 5 months and we have not received a cent from him. He has repeatedly lied about “checks in the mail”. He has been reported to the MO Attorney General office for fraud and theft. Update. It is now 1 year after our sale and Pat from Summit Estate Sales still has not paid up. There are other estate sale companies in the KC area - don’t make the same mistake we did. He comes across as a decent, honest man but that is not our experience.
Pat and Pam Seely had our estate sale for us. We had a whole house full of items for sale. We thought they were doing a good job. However, they stole items from our sale and did not pay us. We have been waiting since November to get paid. We actually showed up at a sale they were having in order to get a check from them. They sold over 11,000 of our life long antiques and household items. They owed us 7,000.00. We received a check that day and it bounced twice! Pat Seeley did not pay the agreed upon proceeds to my elderly father for his estate sale after the death of my mother. Paid $1200 but owed a total of almost $6K. Has gone silent and is no longer responding. Have factual documents to substantiate my review.
This guy is a scammer!!! I would give him a negative star number if I could. Still waiting after 2.5 months for payment. He has ghosted me for 4 weeks now. Before that he said “check is in the mail!” It was not. During my recent investigation I found I’m not the only one!! He also has been known to write hot checks. So do not accept a check from this thief!
Been shopping at Summit sales since at least 2008-ish. Wonderful folks! Will keep going to them!
