I had an extremely disappointing experience with ***** Environmental Solutions. If negative stars were possible, theyd be warranted here. I contacted them to address a rodent issue, but despite multiple visits from their technicians, the problem remains unresolved. Summit did unauthorized work, removing bat houses that my son and I had made together. They threw away the bat houses even though I had requested they not be touched. Summit admitted their mistake and offered to discount their services by 1/3rd the price of new comparable bat houses. At a minimum they should have offered to replace like with like. I gave them several chances to make this right but, even though they took responsibility for the mistake, they are unwilling to fix the issue.

I can't say enough good things about Summit Environmental Solutions. They recently helped me with an attic insulation and roof repair job, and I'm beyond impressed. I had Ms. **** come out and inspect my home for various pest control services, including ants getting inside my house and a wasp nest on my deck furniture. After removing the wasp nest, she thoroughly inspected the entire deck under every piece of furniture and every nook and cranny to make sure there wasnt any other nests left. Her ant treatment got rid of our problem overnight, which was like a miracle to us because no other ant remedies weve tried have ever worked this well. I had a squirrel that entered my attic from chewing through a pipe boot on one of the exhaust pipes on the roof. The salesman told me that they would trap it, seal all the openings, and put wire cages over top of 3 attic fans and 4 roof vents. The cost for all of this work would be $*****. I asked in detail about these wire cages. I thought I had a really good understanding of exactly what the final result would look like. I wish I had never used Summit. Unfortunately our Home Warranty Service selected them for the replacement of our sunroom roof. The work conducted was shabby at best. After 3 years, the rafter failed under a portion of the roof due to improper installation of the flashing. I contacted the company to determine a resolution and was told that the roof was only warrantied for 2 years and that they had installed it correctly and no other assistance would be provided. If I can give them zero stars I would do it. They charge a very high price to seal the attic to prevent mice. They recommended metal plates to go around the gutters. When they showed up, I had to watch, as I always do with service people. To my surprise, the workers were just nailing around the gutters. When we asked them, where the metal plates are, they say, you don't need them, nails will do the job. Summit Environmental Solutions doesn't provide a good service. My problem was squirrel in the attic. They came and gave me an estimate initially which was what I want to hear at the time, but it turns out it wasn't really the whole picture or the whole problem. Two months after their initial solution, squirrels came back and their second expert had to come and inspect the whole roof and attic again and provide a whole new additional estimates, this time with much higher price-tag. This company is completely unprofessinal. I was given a doecif date and time for service and they never showed up. When I called I was told they can’t come that day. Then I asked to speak to the receptionists manager and was told, no. They wouldn’t be coming at all.
