8 years in our Summit supposed to be custom home, but was semi custom. Very low quality work. Stain on cabinets is very inconsistent and wood is cheap that they were made from. Trim work has separated in many places and looks awful and has been that way from the beginning, I could go on and on. I would not buy or build a home with Summit. They are unprofessional

Built a home with Summitt several years ago. Everything was a joke. Terrible quality, terrible finishes. I literally had their x employees call me at my office to tell me they felt bad about doing such bad work and they needed to get it off their chest. Lol come on. How is this place in business still? You won't notice all the flaws in construction until you move in. Then when you call to have them fixed they will do another patch job. 6 months later what ever you had fixed will look exactly the same but by then it will no longer be covered by any warranity. So that there is no question in what I mean here are the actual things that have happened... 1. There was a problem with our HVAC system and the professional we had come out said that things were not connected appropriately to the pan and we were very close to having a... read more
