I recently purchased a new home and decided to have the 20 year old floors re-done before we moved in. We also wanted to expand the hardwood down a small section of hallway to have it match. Summits team was able to help us match and expand the floors and get the work done within our schedule which helped us not have to delay moving in! David did fantastic work! We were very impressed with our floors that were recently refinished by Summit Custom Hardwood flooring in Sherwood Park. We were hoping to get the floors refinished quickly but it looked like we would need to wait five weeks. There was a delay in another client's schedule and Summit called use to move our work up three weeks. Our floors were 23 years old, solid oak, with prominent bevels, as was the style when our home was new. These bevels needed to be sanded and eliminated. If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would. From our first conversation with Elton, who was polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. He reduced our initial angst of getting the floors refinished and gave us so much information on choosing the finish to caring for the floors. We were able to schedule the work easily. Kaden refinished our floors. He was professional and kind and made sure before doing any of the work to answer any questions we had.
