BEDBUG WARNING: Do NOT book with Summit County Mountain Retreats. We have a reservation in a week and they have a bedbug infestation in the Dakota Lodge and will not let us out of our agreement. There is not a chance that I want to risk bringing home bedbugs and they have said that I will be stuck with 100% of the costs if I choose to cancel. Horrible customer service when the reason for cancellation is not my problem.
I have rented twice with this company. My first was for a visit in September of 2020. Both were units in Buffalo Lodge. In September we rented a 3br, 3bth with a large deck overlooking River Run. The condo was clean and spacious and I thought it was a great price. Two hot tubs on site as well as a gas grill and you could also use the neighboring hot tub. We enjoyed this stay so much that we decided to book again with SCMR and since it was only two couples went with a 2br, 2bth in the same building. This rental was for... read more
