Definitely less than 1 star. Many negative stars. I dont have current involvement with this agency but prior involvement has made it clear that they are NOT an agency that keeps families together. They are NOT an agency that has the best interests of children in mind. They are dishonest and manipulative. I currently have concerns about a family but I would NEVER involve this agency. Ill have to figure out another way to make sure these kids are alright. Smh.
I don’t leave reviews, however it felt warranted in this case. I had a case opened due to my pre teen middle schooler being home while I work , and quickly recognized how manipulative and unmotivated our case worker was - her name was Alyssa. absolutely USELESS like every county. they do not care about children being abused. they don’t call family back. i have family members actively being abused and this place is doing absolutely nothing. toddlers don’t matter to CSB
I have a family member that did everything that they was supposed to do. But they gave legal custody to the foster mom. The family member works does not have a criminal back ground. The foster mom told lies on the family member and this was not investigated until after the fact. State said that they offered more time to the family member for the child but they never offered overnight visitation. I have had to deal with SCCS twice and have not been impressed. And they weren't my children I was trying to help a relative. Both times I was lied to and the case workers were not impartial. They would set a goal when it was reached they change it. They would complain that something they wanted done to the house ( nothing that really had to be except in their minds) wasn't done.
