Service at pickup sublime, consultation on routes value-added, bike was very well tuned, complete toolkit in saddle bag, easy return.
The rudest person I have ever met working at the front desk. I had previously talked to an employee to see if they would work on a scooter I have and they mentioned they would try it if I brought the tires in. Just walked in and was told I was stupid for bringing a scooter into a bike shop and that I made the worst fiscal decision since bitcoin. Never using this shop and telling every living soul to avoid it
I rarely experience bad customer service. This place did a great job at it. I’ve walked by summit bicycles many times. I’ve never personally walked in but it seemed like a good place to walk in if I ever needed any help with my kiddos bike. Huge mistake. All I can say is horrible customer service. Top tier discrimination. Being treated differently because of someone’s skin color should not be tolerated ♀️♥️
1 star for the company itself. Salespeople are friendly and helpful, however the buying process is not great at all due to the company’s incompetence of aligning they inventory with the original bike manufacturer. The prices on their website as also a mess and some of them even more expensive than the official manufacturer website (same size and model). I broke my chain during a ride the other day. When I arrived at Summit, it was near the end of the day and it was unclear if there was going to be time to install a new chain on my bike before closing. Fortunately, one of the technicians, Gavin, made some time to squeeze me in and get my new chain installed while I waited, just before closing. I was impressed by the knowledge of the staff and their willingness to help me out at the very end of the day.
