Consistently great service! We have used Summit Automotive for several years, from tires to a new clutch. Always a pleasant experience! At one point, feeling a brake estimate was too high, I went to a Just Brakes in Denver. After two visits, my bill was $250 higher than what Summit Automotive had estimated. I learned my lesson.
Awesome Customer and Auto Service On Tueday Sep 7th while westbound on I-70 we experienced brake problems. At the Silverthorne/Dillion exit we inquired at, I belive a Shell Station as to where we could have our brakes checked. We were directed to your place of business. What a good recommendation it was! It was late in the afternoon (3:30) and I was not optimistic about getting repair work right away. Complaint, Incompetent, Left family stranded 60 mi from town, Expensive On Sept. 1, I went to Summit Automotive Group because of a broken serpentine belt on my Ford Bronco. After three successive repairs and $600, they got it running (temporarily) and I made it only 60 miles to the Colorado River wilderness where my truck was stranded for one week. The mechanic did not speak English. No hablo english. After they fixed the belt, it wouldn't start so they insisted the battery was dead and charged me $134!! for a new battery!! ... read more
Owners Beware Don't Go Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I own a VW Passat and it was at this facility for 30 days. They refused to repair my vehicle in the manner that both I and the warranty company were satisfied with. I had to tow my vehicle to Denver to a VW Dealer to be fixed after 1 month at this facility. This is not a place to take a vehicle to be repaired! You definately want to get a second opinion before having anything done by this shop. STAY AWAY!!
These guys are great! I have had both of my cars in with Summit Automotive for mechanical service and tire service. Jim got me in right away, had the service done quickly and correctly, and even vacuumed the carpet! Definitely a Summit County standout in service and quality.
