This place is magic. We stay here often. The beaches are wonderful, it’s quiet, clean, and worth every penny. You can get here and you don’t have a need to drive the whole time.
I have been staying at the Summerwind Resort for 12 years now. The #1 reason, proximity to the beach. The second #1 reason, because of the heated pool. Yes I know, the pool is actually second but I wanted to illustrate how important it is to our families with 10 kids under 13. The pool has always been heated when we arrive the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This year we were told that wasn’t the case but the pool was only heated BY Thanksgiving day.
