I have been a patient at Summerville Family Health for several years, and unfortunately my experience has been consistently negative when it comes to the front desk staff. The reception team is unprofessional and often dismissive. One younger receptionist in particular, whose voice is even on the Harborn location voicemail, has been rude on multiple occasions and speaks with an unnecessary attitude. Frustrating and disheartening experience. I have been searching for a primary care physician for a while and saw that one of their doctors was accepting patients. I went to the office, filled out paperwork and one of receptionists said they would call me to schedule my first appointment. When I got home that day, I received emails that I was set up with their online booking system so I thought why not try and book an appointment. My doctor moved to this clinic and I had my first appointment there today. I walked in one receptionist was on the phone, and after standing there for a few minutes the receptionist at the end of the desk asked if she could assist me. I took out my healthcard but she asked for my name and then asked for healthcard.. I'm sorry but booking an appointment TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE and having it canceled the same day is unacceptable. Especially when we couldn't see the doctor before those 2 months. The "manager" of this clinic is highly unprofessional. Dr. Lily Wu is too. Considering she's never in office but her patients can't be seen by on-call doctors? But you can't go to a walk in clinic either?
