The worst ever don’t take your loved ones
My husband was sent to Summerstone for rehab after major surgery. All in all we had a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, he was given rehab every day, the facility has a lot of activities going on, and he said the food wasn't bad (at least better than the hospital). Only complaints - staff is scarce on weekends. Sunday he hit the call button and no one showed up for nearly 2 hours. By then I had taken care of his issue myself. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE THEY WILL BE NEGLECTED DON IS MESSY AND CARES MORE ABOUT THE DRAMA GOING ON THEN THE PATIENTS WOUNDS THAT ARE GETTING INFECTED BECAUSE OF NEGLECT FROM NURSING STAFF
Terrible place to take loved one,nurses and cnas that were employed by Sommer stone where pretty good but they get about half their staff from rental agencies and they are terrible,I had to go over there twice after regular hours to find someone to help my wife both times cnas where in nursing station with lights blinking on call panel and they laughing and on cell phones my wife lay there 11/2 hours one time,day time was a little better unless you got one of the rental cnas and when sent home they didn’t line up home health... read more
I have been to many care facilities and Summer Stone is by far the best. 10 out of 10 Their staff is kind, friendly and professional the facility is clean open and well maintained
