The experience was good with animals, the ambience is good, food was ok. We got a steak, Parmi, Mac and cheese for kids. The reason for the 2 star is because of the racist comments I overheard the ladies at the restaurant was spitting between themselves about us , unprovoked and absolutely unnecessary! Oh well , we did ask politely for takeaway boxes for kids food , since the kids had animal encounter booked and the kitchen was closing soon. Shows true character! Shows the culture more than any bling they have.
Lovely spot for kids with playground and cafe on beautiful grounds. Love that it’s also a social enterprise.
We came here for lunch. It was great that it was wheelchair accessible for our daughter and dog friendly. There were so many gluten and dairy free options it was hard to choose. I chose the schnitzel because I have only had a gluten and dairy free one once before. My husband and daughter also chose the same. It was absolutely delicious and super crunchy. My husband, who can eat any schnitzel, was very impressed too.
Best rib-eye steak ever eaten. Compliments to the cook and excellent service. Great value!
