Great central location. Less than a mile from wells beach. The cottage was cute and spotless. The entire resort was great. And staff helpful and friendly, management is super attentive and handle any issues immediately and professionally! Pools/hot tub were sparkling clean as was the entire resort . There is a gym, fitness area pickleball tennis shuffleboard and playgrounds. The entire resort is beautiful and impeccable. This far exceeds any hotel in the area. We had booked 2 differnt weeks in August 2025. First of all I never travel with all my bed linens and bathroom towels, bath rugs and wash cloths on vacation. Secondly you need to wait for a trolley to get to any of the amenities on the property since there is not any parking anywhere except at your cabin. Very hard to walk anywhere with no sidewalks etc. Must walk on a one lane road and deal with the cars and trolley. Gated community so you need to meet your guest at the entrance. BRING BACK MELANIE! I have gone to Summer village as a child and now bring my kids there. The new general manager does not care about anything, nor do the board members!! The playground swings are broken, events are now non existent, 3 hr delay in check ins, dirty cottages, pools shut down, etc. Wake up board members, because word of mouth travels fast & the conversations held at the pools all share the same view.
