He found I had bone spurs and arthritis in both my hips. He gave me a shot at the hospital and said it should last 4-5 mos. It has been 7 mos and no pain. He has great manners and seems to really care.
I love Dr. Higbee and his office! They totally validated my pain I 'd been experiencing for nearly a year with a physical cause! He is kind, nice, professional and Knowledgeable and will do his best to answer your questions. One bad thing on my part is I forgot to ask all my questions when I was in his office. I also wish I could have seen the results for myself of the tests given to me as patient as well as my chart or obtained a copy of my medical file for my own personal use. He was kind and appropriate. Listened to me
I broke my elbow at work. He was impatient and had little tolerance for questions. His assistant is totally incompetent. Second appointment she wrote on my paper to give to work that my injury was in my left leg instead of arm and that I couldn't return to work, when I had been going into work before. I asked Higbee to see the x-ray at the first visit, but never did. I had to ask about 7 times the second visit before I finally saw it. Dr Sumko has cared for me and my family for years. He always gets us in quickly when there is a problem and is excellent.
He is an unbelievable doctor and I would recommend him to anyone looking to be treated with respect and wanting quality care at its finest. He explains everything and he is always willing to answer any question you may have. He never made me feel like we were inconveniencing him or taking too much of his time with anything. He was always willing to listen and to help encourage my son through the healing process. We loved him and also loved his staff, he will always be our first choice!!
My husband went to Dr. Sumko the other day for a knee problem he's having. Dr. Sumko was very insulting and rude to him, and made him feel stupid for even going in to see him. My husband said that Dr. Sumko wasn't really listening or trying to understand his situation. he acted like my husband was almost making up the pain he has. But I know he has been having excruciating pain. Dr. Sumko also belittled him for having the insurance we have in front of other people.
Dr Sumko has cared for our family for YEARS. He has treated broken bones, monitored Scoliosis, and performed many surgeries. Some of the surgeries were for tendons, cysts, shoulder, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. He cares about our family.
He is the Best! Best staff alsi! Cares about the patient!
