The food was okay, service was a little slow. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.
Amazing food.
Sumela is one of my favorite restaurants in High Point! The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious—easily a 10/10. Matt and his team go above and beyond with their hospitality, making every visit feel special. They always take great care of me, and the service is top-notch. And the baklava—it’s out of this world! If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend!
They Lady that was here on March 25 2024. She was waiting tables. When a man came in she was very vague with the man. But when two ladies came in she was all about it she was overstepping her bounds and doing everything she could for them. I'm just saying is there a difference in The service for a man or a woman. HUMM?
The food is very flavorful and cooked well. We really enjoyed the beef shish-kabob and the chicken shish-kabob. The sides were also very tasty, including hummus and the white bean salad. The pita was fresh. And the baklava was delicious. Would definitely come back.
