Posting this as my experience as a worker. I've worked there for 3.5 years now, and walking into Sum of Us *STILL* makes me glad to walk into work. The waiting room is so serene and happy, even as a therapy clinic where you know people are experiencing challenges. It comes from knowing you are met and seen kindly, and that safe feeling I get when walking in is like no other. Sum of us kids is an amazing paediatric hub that is extremely supportive and inclusive. Rebecca Kidd has changed our lives for the better. Because of her my son is now able to communicate and interact with anyone he wants to without the feelings of frustration and anger. Rebecca has always gone above and beyond for us.. not just going by the books but by thinking outside the box, seeing what my son needs and how she can help him grow and become more independent. Rebecca was amazing we had our son continued with her for a year or so starting with a specified Spaulding technique, a specialized phonetic decoding teaching method which Helps your child recognize words for reading and spelling. Rebecca always had amazing interactions with our son and kept him engaged, she genuinely cared about him progressing. Also the more sessions we attended the more in-depth the material became.
