The food was good. Baklava and Kunafe satisfied my sweet tooth. Vegetarian platter was great!
I am from Türkiye so, I feel reasonably qualified to judge Turkish food 😄, and I can say this place is authentic. We were passing through on a road trip and stopped in for a late dinner. We ordered Ali Nazik and lahmacun, and both were excellent. The salads were fresh, the eggplant purée was nicely prepared, and even the bread deserves a mention. Delicious food, great atmosphere and attentive service. This restaurant is a must try if you are in Cville
We ordered takeout and both got the lamb platter. It was a good portion, but was mostly rice. There were 4 /5 small pieces of lamb and no sauce just hummus. For $22 per person we were pretty disappointed and still hungry for more protein.
