The only reason they get one star is because there is no option for less. The woman behind the messy counter was incredibly rude. She stated, with quite the air of arrogance, that they did not see people without an appointment, and couldn't be bothered to check to see if someone might be available in the near future. We liked them. They were definitely good salespeople, but not too pushy. The place isn't exactly the most organized or well kept but the selection seemed much better than the rest. They were the third place we went and they helped us immediately and were very attentive, unlike the other two places in Scranton. We are a little worried about the rest of the process after reading these other reviews, so I guess we'll see what happens. Terrible customer service. I bought all my prom dresses at Sullum's. So years later when I was ready to look for my bridal dress I thought of Sullum's first. Wow has that place changed...and not for the better. I had a dress in mind I wanted to try on. I called because I knew they carried that designer. As a lady picked up the phone it sounded like I was disturbing her. I was put on hold for 10 min. I am only reviewing the customer aspect. Both on the phone and in person, the staff that I dealt with was rude and condescending, with an air of snobbishness. I have purchased two bridesmaids dresses here over the years; the first one about seven years ago. I was treated really then and apparently nothing has changed unfortunately.
