Do not use Sullivan Solar. I used them for 2 projects and the first one was good but on the second one they did no pay the roofers. Next thing you know is that I get a lien on my property and I had to pay $8200 to the roofers for them to start the documentation to give me back control of my home. I am not the only one after researching. They never contacted me nor have the even tried to. Very disappointed and this was even before the pandemic.

Our system was installed by Sullivan in December and at the end of January we were notified by CEB that they had not been paid by Sullivan and a lien would be forthcoming on our home. We paid cash for our system and have not been getting any calls back from Sullivan as to when they plan to get this issue settled. There are multiple liens on properties now. Check Yelp and NextDoor. DO NOT USE SULLIVAN

Sullivan Solar did a great job installing our system. The whole team seemed to work well together. I had a couple of follow up questions that they were responsive to as well. Unfortunately, now that my referral rebate and my daughter’s referral fee are months past due I can’t get a returned call or a reply to my emails. I’ve been given the runaround by enough people to force me to post this complaint. Even a letter to the company’s President has gone unanswered. We were initially happy with the pre-project orientation, service and post installment meeting. The installation team was excellent! We received a notice of a lien on our property for non payment of suppliers recently. We paid cash for our project and they did not use the funds to pay their suppliers. Our project manager initially followed up after we notified them, but the customer relations contact given will not respond to our numerous inquiries. I really loved the salesman and the install team. The process was great until the installation was complete. Since that time, I have had multiple problems with the system. With the most recent issue, I have followed up with three different people over three weeks and can't get them to return an email or call. Really disappointing.

Sullivan Solar For those considering installing a solar panel array from Sullivan Solar, you may want to hear about our experience. Sullivan Solar installed our 46 Panasonic 330 watt panels, using SolarEdge Inverters, optimizers ( and other equipment)in August 2019. The System was supposed to be capable of producing 24,937 kilowatt hours per year. We chose them because they had the least marketing BS than the others. Not happy with thus far with Sullivan. They have lied about the roof they’re installing, turned off my electric for three days, without letting me know. No one is returning my calls. Would like my old roof back & a new solar company.

Be aware !!! Sullivan solar is very deceptive in the way they sell their products. When they want your business, they will call you non stop to make a deal. Afterwards, if there is a problem good luck getting anyone to reply or help. Sullivan undersized our solar system knowing that we were in the middle of pool and landscape construction that will ultimately require more energy. Furthermore, they signed us up to a wrong rate plan with SDGE. At true up, our bill came out to be over $1,000. For 6 months we tried numerous time... read more
